Borje Salming called....

Börje Salming already called me few years ago. This happened when I gave him my Thor Braktea´t (medallion) from the TORJewelry Collection. I thought he would appreciate it and since he is such a good role model I wanted him to have one. I know he like silver jewelry and he told me that I was right. He also told me that he thought the pendant was made with skilled craftmanship. He seemed like a real gentleman so I am sure that the bracteat has a nice time in his company.

In sweden there is this campaign of famous swedes calling women to remember them to check their breasts once every month. www.kollabrösten.nu/ This is the breast cancer fond sponsoring this campaign since this is the most common cancer for women in sweden. Today I saw that Borje Salming is one of the famous persons who make these calls. I have now ordered one of these calls to sponsor the fond and also hear from Börje again.

About the Thor Bracteat:
This piece of jewellery is shaped like the ancient "Braktea't". A magnificent piece of jewellery which can be used as an amulet. The Vikings and their ancestors wore these to protect themselves against evil and in the hope that it would bring them prosperity. Thor was the god of thunder in ancient Nordic mythology and his weapon was the hammer "Mjolner". It would return to his hand like a boomerang after he had used it. It was also a symbol of strong ties, and was used to consecrate marriages. Se the whole TORJewelry Collection by entering my website at http://www.4vikings.com/.
All the best from me to you!

About me

My photo
Borås, Västra Götaland, Sweden
Female, pretty ordinary if you ask me. Other people might say I am a bit odd like when I decided to go to Bosnia with weapon and uniform in a peace keeping unit for the UN few years ago. I wanted to be a part of something real with a good purpose. Some people say I lack humour. My friends always have to tell me when it is a joke otherwise I take everything seriously. I should be in the ironic generation, but I don't feel at home there.
